Nobody Knows You When You’re Down And Out

We’ve just posted the Windhaven version of the old Blues standard “Nobody Knows You When You’re Down And Out”, to rave reviews from at least two of our friends. The song, and the accompanying video, are a tribute to anyone out there who is struggling and out of work. It’s tough out there, but we can make it through if we just stick together.

The song was recorded as part of our current demo CD package which we’re presenting to club owners, but we thought we’d share it with our friends, as well. We’ve also created a video for the song, on the assumption that it will make it easier for friends to share the song on Facebook and other social media. Hopefully if you like it, you’ll help us spread the word. Windhaven is leaning more toward the Blues than we ever have, and will be releasing a string a cover songs and original tunes in the weeks and months to come. “Nobody Knows You When You’re Down And Out” is just the first in a series of releases, including an upcoming live performance from Pagan Tea House in Saint Petersburg, Florida. Good things are happening.

Let us know what you think. As ever, we value your opinions and criticism. We might argue with you, but we definitely want to know what you have to say. We love ya!

As ever, you can find the song in our music player, to the right in the sidebar. Or visit our Audio/Video and Download pages for more options.
