New Recordings & Other Possibilities

We’re going to be working on the CD this weekend. We have 3 original songs on their feet and just days from completion, and another 8 structured with basic guitar tracks. Thus far the recording of the CD has proceeded at a glacial pace, but we’re hoping to having it completed within the next month or two. It’s being recorded at Windhaven Network Studios in Saint Petersburg, Florida (which is our fancy way of saying we’re recording it at home). It’s a home-grown project, with Victoria providing her beautiful vocals, nimble percussion and excellent piano skills. Wicasta will be taking lead vocals on most of the songs, as well as playing guitars and percussion. Victoria and Wicasta are taking turns on the bass tracks. Wicasta is producing the CD, and will engineer, mix and master the project at home in Saint Petersburg.

We’re looking forward to getting the ball rolling again. Between line-up changes and work, we haven’t went after this CD the way we should have. But we’re hoping to get things back on track, starting this weekend. Once the CD is finished we’ll be pushing hard to get the Windhaven name out there, and intend to become a regular presence in the Tampa Bay music scene. This zeppelin is almost ready to take to the skies.
