Looking At 2016

Mischievous KittyWell, here we are. Another year. Here’s to looking at 2016 with something akin to intent. Or at least mischief (we do aim to misbehave).

No, we’re not going to make any grand promises. After all, we posted to this web site once in all of last year. Yeah, it was that kind of year.

All we’ll say is that we hope 2016 bears sweeter fruit, and we hope it’s the same for you. We all head into a new year with a sense of hope that we can begin again. Sometimes we pull it off. Sometimes we don’t. In the end, all that really matters is today. Live your life. Love the people around you. Count your blessings. Treasure the moments, because they’re really all you have. You can’t go back. And you can’t go forward. There is now. Embrace it.

Windhaven has some plans for 2016. We won’t go into details. We’ve learned from hard experience that we just make ourselves look like fools when we make declarations of intent which never see results. Best laid plans and all that. So, the primary change for us this year is that we’re not going to talk much about the things we’re working on or stuff we hope to do. We’re not going to mention any of it until it’s either well under way, or it’s frickin’ finished.

And if we never get anything done, we’ll just see you here next year, with another obligatory post about another new year.

But who knows? Great things could happen in 2016. We sure hope yours is interesting.
